Abstract
The idea of Schools for Fundamental Learning has been implemented in our which Gunting country which means thet pupils attend the primary and intermediate Iraep at the same school . This experience has been experimented in a limited number of schools to test its adequacy and suitability to our system of education . These schools ensure a greater psychological stability for the pupils since they do not have to more from one school to another while could have a negative effect on his or her achievement .
The present study aims at compairing Schools for Fundamental,s Learning with those which do not follow this system to discover the advantages and disadvantages in such experience . This has been done throught the use of a multi – variate statistical analysis termed Discriminant Analysis . Such analysis is able to discriminate between two groups of variables and determine the significance of each variable upon two groups of pupils tought by the two systems of schools . The study ends with several conclusions and recommendations which are of great value to those who are in charge of the educational system giving them a general overview about the differences between the two kinds of schools .
