Abstract

This study aims at discussing the dimensions of information quality and determining the impact the effectiveness of decisions making process for some of colleges of Babylon University ,the problem of the studyis that poor data and information quality can have a significant negative impact on organizations success.consequantly,organizations are implementing programs to improve data quality to achieve competitive advantage, is of central importance, and informution quality is accordingly the key concebt to analyse , measure and evaluate this process . The questionnaire is the main tool of the study it Is consists of (11) items . The study findings : The mean of the fields of the questionnair is (8.03) and the degree of dimensions of information quality is high in spourtting decision effictiveness the problem of the research is summarized , there appears to be a mismatch between the needs organization for delivering high -quality information to information consumers and the skills of new information system this study examines this mismatch indetial and makes recommendations on closing the gab and improving information system.
