Abstract
The study depended on two variables, Strategic planning and
organizational effectiveness, which are presented intellectually, and the strategic
planning have been tested as the independent variable in the effectiveness of the
Iraqi defense ministry.
Intentional sample was chosen of higher supreme military leaders of (30)
leaders was tested to survey their opinions explored and analyzed to verify the
nature of strategic planning in the ministry and its contribution in increasing or
decreasing its effectiveness, after the analyzing, it appeared that some of study
variables were effective, where as the others were effective. Also the study
determined the positive and negative side in strategic planning operation,
mechanism that can develop the strategic goals to achieve the Iraqi ministry
vision.
